About the project

The client, Amy from HealthBeetInc, was using Leadpages to create product pages but wanted to reduce recurring costs and bring everything in-house within WooCommerce. She approached me to design a new, high-performing version of her best-selling product page directly inside WooCommerce, without relying on third-party platforms. What started as a single-page redesign evolved into a complete overhaul of her WordPress website and WooCommerce store.

  1. Discovery & Audit
    • Reviewed the client’s product page and overall site structure.
    • Analyzed performance issues, plugin load, and UX weaknesses.
    • Proposed a scalable, clean, and conversion-focused redesign strategy.
  2. Theme Migration & Cleanup
    • Migrated the entire site to the **Hello Elementor** theme for maximum speed and flexibility.
    • Removed redundant and bloated plugins to streamline performance and backend usability.
  3. Product Page Redesign
    • Rebuilt the 1200 Calorie Meal Plan product page using **Elementor Pro**, focusing on:
    • Clear layout hierarchy
    • Strong call-to-action placement
    • Mobile-first design
    • Trust-building elements like reviews and guarantees
  4. Conversion & UX Optimization
    • Improved information architecture for better readability and decision-making.
    • Integrated UX elements to guide users toward conversion with minimal friction.
    • Simplified the buying experience to boost checkout completion.
  5. Performance Optimization
    • Minified CSS/JS files and reduced HTTP requests.
    • Enabled lazy loading and optimized image delivery.
    • Achieved a significant improvement in page speed across devices.

  • Page Load Speed: Reduced from ~6 seconds to under 2 seconds
  • 📉 Bounce Rate: Decreased significantly
